Sweet Mary Reese turns 2!
September 28th, 2009
Sweet Mary Reese, you certainly keep us laughing! Because you love to sing “Happy Birthday”, we have celebrated your birthday for over a week now. We’ve had tea parties on the porch, played dress up, and enjoyed candle topped cookies, cupcakes, and sandwiches! Happy “official” birthday sweet girl, we love you and are so proud to be your parents!
Mary Reese’s Birthday Celebration
September 23rd, 2009
Last Saturday we celebrated Mary Reese’s birthday. Her real birthday isn’t until September 26, but we decided to do it a week early so that it wouldn’t interfere with the Georgia football schedule. Little did we know that our reasoning would be marked by a week of torrential downpours and record level flooding. By Friday, it became apparent that our outside themed party would have to be moved indoors.
Despite the rain and cramped quarters, MR’s birthday was a special reminder of how fortunate we are to be surrounded by so many family members and friends. Thank you to everyone who braved the weather to help our special girl celebrate her second birthday!
A quick update with the promise of more to come!
September 20th, 2009
Im a week behind in my blog updates. In that time, we celebrated two Georgia wins, the life of my great aunt Mannie who passed away last Friday, and sweet Mary Reese who turns two on September 26.
Things have been super busy around here! I’ll post birthday pictures later in the week, but for now, here are some pictures from last weekend. Our good friends Jay and Alina drove down from Columbia, SC to help cheer on the dawgs!
Our sweet friends Jay and Alina and thier little girl, Brenley. We met them in Lowell, MA shortly after getting married. Ourt girls are two weeks apart in age.

Five things that make me happy
September 1st, 2009
One silly little girl who loves shoes as much as her mama does.
Two trips (and counting) to the big-girl potty.
Three precious cousins who love each other dearly.
Four birthday celebrations this weekend,
Reynold’s second birthday in Griffin, Georgia
Boss’ first bulldawg birthday
and five fabulous years spent with my wonderfully, thoughtful husband, who surprised me with my first pair of cowboys boots for our anniversary!
Grandparents take note…this sweet little cowgirl has placed red cowboy boots at the top of her birthday wish list…
