Another call out to my prayer warriors

While things are certainly exciting around the Harvey house with news of the big move, I do have a few prayer requests to add to the list.

First and foremost, please continue to pray that God will heal Garrett’s melanoma. G has had several tests since his diagnosis and the latest pathology reports indicate a need to do a biopsy on his lymph nodes. We have an appointment scheduled on Monday to discuss the procedure and another appointment on Wednesday to remove one of his lymph nodes. According to the numbers, there is a 25% chance that the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes. I try not to get too wrapped up in the “numbers game”, but as you can imagine, I’m scared to death. Please, please, please pray that there is no cancer in G’s body.

Secondly, we ask you to pray that we will find a place to live in the comings weeks. G and I have decided to rent for a year before buying and unfortunately, our search has left us empty handed. Our move out date, Aug 15, is approaching fast! Please pray that God will provide us with a clean and safe place to live.

Finally, along with finding a place to live, we also need Human Resources to find movers to help us pack. This process usually takes weeks. Without the movers, G and I will be responsible for packing up our own belongings and putting them in storage until the final paper work comes through. Please pray that God will speed up the hiring process and that He will bless us with the help of movers.

Thank you all once again for your prayers and support!

  2. Gran C says:

Please tell Sadie that I am coming for her, she knows she is being exploited and she is not happy about it.

Prayers are going up, including one for poor Sadie!

Seriously, you’re being prayed for, and God’s provisions always come at the perfect time!

So far, so good on our prayers for G. We’ll certainly put them in overdrive right now for you both. You sure have a lot on your plate, but once the dust settles, you will be in GEORGIA. Hang in there, and get pumped, because Taren will be here in five days!!!!

    Carly,
G is on our prayer list. Please keep us posted on his results…

And poor Sadie! Bless her heart. You should feel horrible for doing that to the poor doggie…

I am jealous of you people and your movers! We’ve never had the luxury of having movers…we’ve just done it ourselves. Looking back, I think moving furniture (along with deciding what/where to eat) are the biggest causes of arguments in the Peterson household.

  6. You got it…

And the ASPCA is going to come get you for what you’re doing to the dog…

  7. Clare says:

We will praying for you and G and all of the things coming up in the next few weeks. Things will work out, it looks like things are already working out and the house will fall right into place. Although, I would love for you to stay here! XO, Clare
