Bizshe, Bizshe bee’s

“Bizshe”, another one of Mary Reese’s new words. I’ve explained to MR that being “bizshe” is a good thing, but that sometimes, it means neglecting the things that you love. For instance, my blog. Or exercising. Or taking showers and putting on makeup. All of the things have taken a back seat due to our busy schedules.

Here is a brief run down of the last week…

Wednesday night we attended a surprise birthday for Aunt B at an awesome restaurant called Flip Burger. If you’re ever in the Atlanta area and want to be around the young, hip crowd, this is the place to go. MR thoroughly enjoyed herself. She made friends with a young woman at the bar, despite pulling on her large hoop earrings time and time again. She flirted her way into the hearts of countless men and pretty much had the entire restaurant eating out of the palm of her hand.

We liked Flip Burger so much that we headed back there on Friday night to eat with Garrett’s mom and step dad. They were kind enough to drive 5 hours in the rain to spend the weekend with Mary Reese. MR loved having Danny and Papa at the house. She took full advantage of getting any and everything she wanted.

After a short nap this afternoon, MR was off again. This time, she was headed back to Griffin to visit her other set of grandparents, who are passing through on their way to North Georgia. Although her visit with Papa Joe and Meme (Garrett’s dad and step mom) will be short, she will get to see them next weekend as they travel back to Waycross.

While G and MR enjoy their afternoon in Griffin, I have opted to stay behind to complete a few Petey Pie orders. It has been one month since I have opened my etsy shop and in that time, I have made more than 50 shirts!!! It is such a blessing to not only have a creative outlet, but to also know that I am able to provide a little “fun” money to the pot. Thank you all for placing orders and for helping me to spread the word!

MR is an equal opportunist when it comes to boys…

Thank the good Lord for front porches and rocking chairs! We’ve had a front row seat to the three inches of rain that we have received over the last few days.

MR is so cute. I know I’ve said it before, but seriously, girlfriend steps up her own game every time you post a pic of her. And you look DARLING!!! Love your outfit.

Yes, aren’t we all “bizshe”? It’s hillarious that MR actually knows what that means.
